ZMOT which means Zero moment of truth is a term coined by Google back in 2011, in their eBook of the same name. The term refers to the exact moment when a consumer decides to buy a product. The concept of ZMOT tried to decode the common decision-making processes and influences that lead the consumer to arrive at this moment; to take the decision to purchase a product. ZMOT has become a buzzword now and we see it thrown around by marketers and bloggers in quite an abundance.
